Covid-19 Crisis In India

India, mainly due to overpopulation, has seen the biggest crisis any country has seen. They have a shortage of hospital beds, oxygen machines, and people are even dying while waiting outside hospitals to be helped. India counts around 300,000 new infections and 2,000 people dying everyday. This has of course lead to a nation wide panic, where people are scared to even step outside. This is clearly very terrible but maybe after all of the suffering they could achieve herd immunity since it is spreading so fast.

  1. The panic in India has become very deadly and caused "Fear and Panic" for all. I think that people are dying outside of the hospitals waiting for help is scary. The wave of the outbreak is described as a "Tsunami" and the world's fastest outbreak spread. However, now the the cases has finally decreased for the first time in two months. Overall I think the scare of the Pandemic spreading in India is a very scary thing.

  2. I had no idea covid was that bad in India. It's sad to hear that so many people are dying because they can't get in the hospital. When we look at countries like India we realize how fortunate we are in the US that almost everybody has access to hospital care.

  3. I knew that covid was a big deal here, but I didn't think it was that bad in other countries. Hearing what was said, it is unfathomable how much this has affected other countries. I think we need to do more to find out what we can do to help. This whole pandemic thing does suck, but we need to help people, as they help us.

  5. This is probably due to the lack of proper restrictions that India has. That also might be really bad for the neighboring countries too as it might spread.
