Supposedly extinct sea snake found.
Researchers off the coast of Australia recently discover a live short-nosed sea snake thought to be locally extinct for 23 years. This snake is highly venomous and very endangered.
To me, this is interesting because it means that there could be other creatures we thought to be extinct that are still alive.

Makes you think what else could supposedly be extinct and still be out there
