Alien Life Could Be Growing in More Environments Than We Realized
In this article, recent studies have shown that there could be more life on other planets than we realized. Scientists have found that microorganisms can live in atmospheres made of only hydrogen. There are many other exoplanets out there that have large amounts of hydrogen in the atmosphere, enough to sustain life. Researchers are hoping that if microorganisms are on other planets, that they will one day be visible from Earth.
I found this article really interesting. I believe that there most likely is a lot of other life in our solar system and many other galaxies throughout the universe. Like the article suggested, life doesn't mean other "humans," but even just microorganisms are really fascinating.
I agree that if there were to be other living things somewhere out there in the universe would be interesting. Maybe there are some living things on these other planets that are not on Earth, which would lead to big scientific breakthroughs. Do you think that these organisms are able to live off of only hydrogen?
ReplyDeleteI think that is kind of creepy but at the same time, there is no way there is not another living thing in space because it is so big and we haven't even come close to exploring it. I just hope that the aliens don't take over our world and eat us like Venom and Drake tried to do.
ReplyDeleteI agree with your reasoning that there could be life on the other planets, even if their just microorganisms. I think it would be cool to discover these living things, and then become famous for it.
ReplyDeleteI find it so interesting that after so many trips to space, we have never really found true evidence of micro-organisms living somewhere other than Earth! although these organisms would most likely not be humans, it would still be really cool to find something new out there. Plus this would lead to many new giant scientific discoveries.
