Movie filmed in space
The first movie to ever be filmed in space is set to hit in 2022 with Tom Cruise and Elon Musk's Space X. With his dangerous stunts that he does over the years it will be quite suiting for the type of movies he makes. It will be very expensive alone to produce the movie up in space because of how expensive rocket ships are to launch and safely make it back which they said will cost more than 200 million dollars to produce the movie. It will also be difficult to produce it up there when there is no gravity. These difficulties can further delay the movie when they have high hopes for the launch. However, this will be begin a new dawn into space tourism which Elon Musk wishes to expand on.
I never heard of this but it will be super interesting to see how they play it out. For example, a good amount of Cruise's movies are filled with action. I wonder if since they are already filming it in space why not go that extra mile and just have him fighting off people while they are floating around in space, or maybe they will just do it more like him just being a astronaut.
ReplyDeleteThis is actually very interesting. I never would've thought a movie in space would become a reality. Like you said about how zero gravity will make it hard to produce the movie, I agree that these difficulties will definitely delay and make the process of filming longer. I wonder what type of movie it will be considering Tom Cruise has done pretty wild stunts in the past.
ReplyDeleteWoah, this is really cool. I never thought I'd actually be able to see a movie produced in space. Do you think this is gonna be easier or harder to produce because they don't need as much CGI but it's in space?
